HENDERSON RACING SURE LATONIA. Ky., October 25 Positive assurances that the Henderson meeting would be held as announced was forthcoming this morning and secretary Macfarlan, who has been here and suspended temporarily his compilation of the program book, resumed work and it will be ready for distribution within a short time. The Henderson meeting will, be inaugurated November 8 and continue for a period of ten days, closing November IS. Construction work, temporarily halted by the recent trotting meeting on the track, has been, resumed and the promoters promise to have sufficient stable room for all the horsemen who contemplate shipping to the track. The local interest, particularly in Evansville, Ind., where the main support for the track will be derived, is keen and it is expected that the venture will be a success. Many horsemen here, particularly those who intend shipping to New Orleans for the winter racing there, will send representatives to the new track, as it entails very little detour in their shipment South. Bradley Wilson, general manager of the plant, is expected here tomorrow and will further outline plans of his organization to the horsemen.
