Albert E Dyment Dies After Lingering Illness IllnessScion Scion of Canadian Racing Family Long Associated With Turf Bodies BodiesTORONTO TORONTO Ont May 13 Albert E Dyment 75 who was for 16 years presi ¬ dent of the Ontario Jockey Club and more recently president of the Incorporated Canadian Racing Associations died late yesterday at the Toronto Western Hos ¬ pital pitalScion Scion of an old Ontario racing family Dyment owned four Kings Plate winners two of them jointly with his father the late Nathaniel Dyment His own Brook dale Stable colors were carried to victory in 1912 by Heresey and in 1921 by Heren desy Thessalon and Sapper were winners in 1903 and 1904 respectively He main ¬ tained a breeding farm at Barrie Ont the site of the establishment presently oper ¬ ated by W H Wright WrightMr Mr Dyment was widely known as a busi ¬ ness executive but retired because of ill health three years ago at which time he was chairman of the board of directors of the General Electric Company Ltd He served in a similar capacity with various other organizations He was for 12 years a member of the House of Commons CommonsHe He is survived by his widow Edith Frances one daughter Mrs W A Landry of Montreal two grandsons serving in the armed forces and one granddaughter granddaughterFuneral Funeral services on Monday will be held privately
