Washington Park Course Ready for Horse Influx InfluxHOMEWOOD HOMEWOOD 111 May 29 With work on the racing strips barns and other parts of the plant nearing completion the Washington Park course is ready for the horses which began to arrive Saturday and will continue to come in right UP to the opening of the sport three Veeks from today todayWidening Widening of the main course from the seveneighths post area to the four and onehalf furlongs post has been completed except for final treating of the top soil over a small portion of the added track Fortyeight stalls added to two barns will be ready for occupancy within a few days and other work will be completed about the same time timeC C A Roles trainer of the main division of the L B Mayer stable sent word that his horses would be shipped here from New York early next month and the racers of H M Woolf and H P Headley are ex ¬ pected about the same time C H Pinon arrived from California with eight head and T D Grimes S Devore and Ralph West are others coming from Bay Mead
