ZEPHYRETTE was always between horses in a dull performance. LITTLE BIJOU raced in the first flight from the outset, swung wide entering the stretch but, while being fully extended, bested EQUIMAGIC in the late stretch. The latter moved up very fast while saving ground, looming most dangerous on the stretch turn, but then hung. PATSY BRAND was forced to take the overland route in a good effort. TWO THREES tired after racing with the top one in the early stages. BLITZ-DART was never a factor. NEW PRINCESS showed little. JUNKET turned in a miserable effort. KITTY KAT, allowed to settle into best dkride, moved to the outside on the backstretch, disposed of ANNE TUCK midway around the final turn and then, while being fully extended, held GLADANH0D safely. The latter broke well, was then taken back off the pace, moved up boldly between horses on the turns and finished well. COURAGE ROAD had the best late foot of any and bears watching in a longer race. ANNE TUCK faltered after gaining a short lead racing into the far turn. SHOOTERS HILL quit. SANA PANA could not gain clear racing room. JUST IT stopped to a walk. SIGN IT, never far off the pace, saved ground on the turns, but lacked a good closing rally. GREY BILL had early speed. ROYAL KNAVE was used up early and tired badly when the real racing began. CORTINA was bumped hard on the near turn and had to be taken to the outside, moved up fast on the final turn while on the outside of horses, closing well. VINO PRIMO raced in the first flight throughout, but was not match for the top two. KEEN TULIP passed tiring horses in the drive. PARTICIPATION tired. LOYAL OAK was in trouble on the clubhouse turn. IDLE JANE moved up very fast, looming most dangerous on the final turn, but was forced wide by OKLAHOMA KID through the stretch and lost all chance. ROUTE FOUR lacked a closing rally.
