BARNEY SCHREIBERjS Schreiber PRIZE Barney Schreiber no doubt picked up a real bargain when he bought Sain Saint at auction last Thursday Besides being a very good race horse Sain Saint is also royally bred His sire St Serf was by the unbeaten St Simon and his dam The Task by the unbeaten Barcaldino Arcadian His second dam was by Galopin Galloping siro sro of St Simon and his third dam was the dam of the famous mare La Fleche winner of the Oaks St Leger Leer and other great races and one that has the distinction of having brought the greatest sum for which a mare was ever sold at auction 66000 Sain Saint will be one of the lords of the harem at Woodlands Bridgeton Bridgetown Mo and his sons and daughters may well serve to make the place take high rank as a breeding farm
