GOSSIP FROM BLUE GRASS REGION. Lexington, Ky., November 2S. Through Superintendent James P. Ross of the Kentucky Association track, Dan Lehan, of Louisville, today bought from J. J. Timmerman. who is at Havre do Grace, the yearling lilly by Peter Quince Tunlsta. Miller Henderson today bought from John E. Madden, a half-dozen young horses, including Langhorne, which are to be raced at Jnarez this winter. Capt. T. J. Clay has arranged with J. S. Hawkins to train and race his coming two-year-old half-brother to Cock o the Walk, by Jack Atkln Ellan-gowan. Gold Lace, owned by G. D. Wilson: Hot Water and Miss Wiggs. the property of William Garth: Amaranth, owned by P. J. Millet, and Fads and Fancies and Etelka, the property of A. B. Hancock, are to bo shipped to Charlottesville. Va., next week to be mated the coming season with Mr. Haucocks stallion, Celt. Ethel Pace, dam of Alfred Noble and Housemaid, lias also been booked to Celt.
