The latter was in closest pursuit on the outside of the leader all the way and made a game finish. UNDAUNTED raced forwardiy throughout and also finished gamely. JOE FINN closed a biff gap into a close up fourth. ROGER GORDON and CHILLA ran well. PERTHSHIRE finished fast. GRANITE ran as if short. CHUPADERO made a. bad landing at the first fence and all but lost his rider, who scrambled back into the saddle, then went after the others and, wearing the leaders down in going the last time around, drew away and won in a canter. FOXCRAPT Was a forward contender all the way and fenced better than usual. SENEGAMBIAN was a distant trailer most of the way, but finished well. AMALFI met with repeated interference, but closed a gap and finished fast and resolutely. BLUE THISTLE was a forward contender all tlie way and a close up third. LITTLE NEARER ran a good race. The latter made up .ground steadily and finished fast. ENCORE raced forwardiy, but tired after making a threatening effort at the eighth post. FLY HOME closed a big gap in tlie last quarter.
