ALMINO was saved for the first three-quarters, then came through on the inside ou the stretch turn and was cut off and forced to pull up. but finished with a rush and won in the last stride. THE LAM1! ran well fandr the first half, but tired in the last eighth and barely outstayed ASSUMPTION. The latter ran well and finished gamely. HELEN ATKIN tired and, quit.
