TWO GS, in good racing position early, came through on the inside of DEPTH PRINCE in the stretch turn, took command in the early stretch and held on gamely in the stretch run. TULOMAS GIRL, on the inside and in a good position while not far out of it early, responded well to bully her way between horses entering the stretch and, after coming out slightly when clear, showed strong late speed. STAR PIGEON saved ground throughout to turn in an even effort. DEPTH PRINCE,. quick to take the lead, could not stay under the final pressure. OUTING lost some ground while taking the overland route. QUICK PAYOFF, RUNNING GIRL and the others were outrun. IN LOVE, alertly handled while on the inside from the start, found room to take the lead while saving ground in the early stretch and won much as her rider pleased. SOSPIRO, on the extreme outside early, bettered position gradually on the turn, came between horses in the drive and closed gamely. DREAM AMERICA took command almost immediately, saved some ground while away alertly, but could not stay. VICTORY PLAY lacked racing room repeatedly. SIR GAMBLE was outrun. VELVET BOUND was pinched back early and showed nothing thereafter. MASTER KHAN quit badly after displaying some early speed. I REDlSCO, away in good order1, followed closest; to the winner early while improving racing position and drew clear, then while holding on well through the stretch could not muster the needed late speed to last. CLIMBER came around horses in the final going and closed resolutely. WISE SMUG, under light restraint while on the inside, found room to come through on the inside t ochallenge ANGLE BAR at the furlong marker, took the lead inside that point and gradually drew away. ANGLE BAR set the pace while under a snug hold, held a true course throughout but could not withstand the winner when set down. ROCKET MARIE came around horses for the drive and showed the strongest late effort. CHARMEUSE was in closest pursuit before going a half mile then faltered in the final stages.
