McCLELLANDS ENGLISH LOT LEXINGTON Ky Feb 26 Byron McClelland has entered the following youngsters in the Newmarket Stakes in England B c by Rayon dOr Sallie McClelland b c by Bermuda Bettie C b c by Bermuda Lisric LisricIn In speaking of these entries Mr McClelland said saidIt It doesnt cost much and I just thought I would put them in so I could take them over if I want to when the time comes I would like to go over in 1899 if I have anything good enough enoughIt It is well known among Mr McClellands friends that he has wanted to go to England for several years on a racing tour but he has been prevented from so doing doingMr Mr McClelland has just named his bay colt by Order Miss Saxon which was considered the best yearling in Kentucky last fall Sirdar SirdarThe The colt was foaled January 1 1595 and when he boat all the other yearlings at the track last fall the boys of the rival stables jokingly de ¬ clared he was a twoyearold Sirdar is the Egyptian term for leader He is entered in the Futurity which Mr McClelland hopes to win with him this year Mr McClelland has sold to Wallace Estill the chestnut mare Lucy May foaled 1873 by Buckden Georgie Bowman by Lexington and the bay filly Queen Bermuda foaled 1894 by Bermuda Amalthea by Glenelg Mr Estill will breed Lucy May to Prince Lief
