Inconstancy was in rare form She won simply on account of the way that the race was run The early pace was terrific First Lew Blew Hopper took a crack at Lady Ellerslie Wellesley and raced head and head with her for three furlongs When the filly shook Hopper off along came St Alfonses Alfonso D This naturally took all the heart out of her and when challenged by Inconstancy in the stretch the filly had nothing left Inconstancy was cleverly handled Reiff Riff used judgment in waiting for those in front to come back and made his move at the right time Lew Blew Hopper had a lot of speed but it was wasted early Watch this horse He is good and can win St Alfonses Alfonso D stopped when he seemed gallopingScratched galloping to be galloping Scratched Kings Highway 102 Depending 102 Paul
