RINGER DISCOVERED AT FORT ERIE ERIEBUFFALO BUFFALO N Y Sept 14 The management at Fort Erie after investigation discovered Caro Cairo ¬ line K which ran in the second race today tp be a ringer An officer was sent with her to the stable while shewasbeing headspring cooled out Jockey Casteel Caste grasping an opportunity mounted her and tearing through the open gate galloped her at racing speed down the road a couple of miles She was afterwards fpund fund in an orchard and taken back and branded with a horseshoe on her right shoulder and both hips W Holler Jockey Casteel Caste John Ryan SV E Bradberry Bradbury and H Spiers Spiders are all mixed up in the matter The two for ¬ mer mere were placed under arrest while the latfer later two have run away Bradberry Bradbury was the person it is said who tried to put the Echo deal through at Chicago acouple couple of years ago agoJockey goosey Jockey Burrell Barrel had his eye knocked out while warming up Kas Keas in the first race The horse fell with him himLeo thimble Leo Lake was run up to 900 and bought by P M Civill Civilly Judge Wardell Waddell was run up by F Garner to 1200 and bought in by Adam Beck The latter claimed Damocles for 900 and resold him to P M Civill Civilly
