performer and can run either in the mud or on the dry as is shown by this race He won by sheer gameness greatly aided by a competent ride At the head of the stretch all of the boyt boy with the exception of Grav Grave and Rutter Ruttier swung wide The latter two skinned the rails anri anti thereby saved a lot of ground Had Everett on Mus Emus kadine Nadine been in a position to save ground he surely would have beaten Prince Blazes for the amount saved there was a great advantage at the finish Muskadine Misaimed was saddle skirts in front of Prince Blazes at the sixteenth pole but weakened in the closing drive They were all in a close bunch at the finish making it a good performance for Branch Baraturia Barratries ran far below his last race The ride he got was all right and it would be hard to find an excuse for his poor showing Don Orsino Orinoco fell passing the stand Neither horse nor boy was injured Branch seemed to be the cause of the accident accidentScratched
