SURPRISES AT HAWTHORNE High class racing is not to be expected all the time at any course but yesterdays card at Hawthorne was an unusually chaffy one and to make matters worse the fourth race 1 18 miles selling was declared off because of the withdrawal of David Tenny Teeny and Treachery and no substitute being provided race goers were favored with only five instead of the usual six races The
