Winner B. g. by Dundee Our Pet. Start fair. Won driving. Goal Runner was lucky and well handled and barely lasted long-enough to head out the fast gaining Campus. The latter was best and would have won in another stride or two. Both are at home in mud. Whaleback ran an honest race and is a mud lark. Royal Fan dislikes heavy going. Wheat King may do better, but is not of much account. The others are bad horses. Overweights La Parasseuse, 2 pounds; Fortis, 3. Goal Runner, place, 1 to 4. Campus, place, evens; show, 2 to 5. Winner Gr. g, by Martenhurst Helen Scratch. Start good. Won in a gallop. Greyhurst outclassed the field in such going and always had the race at his mercy. Rose Maid likes the mud and ran a good consistent race. Lady Britannic like3 a shorter route. She is good in mud and ran as if not fully keyed up. Durn ad ran his race. Schnitz is in bad form. Time, 12, 24, 371. Winner Ch. c, by Watercress Paloma. Start fair. Won in a gallop. Yellow Tail is a very promising youngster and evidently outclassed the others, Loch Katrine ran very fast through the stretch and made up a lot of ground under indifferent handling. Innovator ran well but will do best over a fast track. The Buffoon is hardly ready, but shows improvement. Nina could not negotiate the sticky holding-track and tired badly in the stretch. Lomonds race should not be considered. It was a workout under his stable companions protection. Ice Drop ran well enough to suggest watching. Loch Katrine, place, evens; show, 2 to 5. Winner B. f, by Balgowan Parolee. Start fair. Won in a gallop. Genua was much the best in the going, which evidently suited her notions admirably. Baneworranto her best mark and was lucky and well bandied. The Fretter was really second best, and only lost the place through awkward work in the saddle. Anne Page is not at home in such going. She is good and will do on a fast track in ordinary company. Jennie Reid is best over a longer route and was short. The same applies to Doremus, who, besides, was off badly. Barney Schreiber is good in mud and ran a fairly good race Jim Bozeman was hort. He is a fast sprinter when fit. The chances of the othnrs wre extinguished by the send-off.
