Beau Monde is not much. Silverado is only worth, notice over the timber. Santa Lucia ran a bad race and Carrie U. a worse one. It took him to the front early. Zorraao was lucky and well ridden. His race was far above the mark. Dr. Sharp was poorly handled and had bad luck. So did Ricardo. Joe Cotton ran a good race for a new beginner and is on the improving list. Our Climates race was unsatisfactory and should be thrown out. He was badly riddon. Major S. is a plodder and the route was too short for him. Colonel Bartlett ran a good race for a green jumper. He was right there most of the way and will bear watching. The others are bad ones. Whaleback closed a lot of ground in the stretch and is improving. Osturuck ran his race. Frank Jaubert did not, but he met interference and was unlucky.
