Ballister ran his race and had clear sailing. Gracias, away slowly, made up a lot of ground and finished strong. Crawford ran a fair race-and was coming at the end. Is improving. Sierra Blanco was badly handled. Jennie Gibb ran greenly. Had speed. Watch her. Jerilderios race will not do. Throw it out. Scratched 10681 Bessie Lee, 101. Overweights Sierra Blanco. 4 pounds. Henry C. ran in improved form, and finished stoutly. Joe Mnssel was nearly left and closed up a big gap. With an even break he-would have won. Billy McCloskey ran his race. So did McFarlane. Roadrunner was pocketed and badly managed He was probably the best horse and his race should be thrown ont. Scratched 10644 Melvin Bnrnham, 103. Glen Ann, place, 8 to 5; snow, 3 to 5. Eddie Jones hardly ran to the mark. A longer route suits him best. Guilder finished well and ran a fair race. The other two were out of their class. Whitcomb was off badly and much used; stopped and was eased at end. For his suspicions looking ride on Sly, W. H. Martin was suspended pending investigation. Wyoming, place. 1 to 2. February was hamporod at the start but ran a good race and was the best horse. He is good ! and will do to watch in sprints. Socialist ran an honest race, closing faat through the stretch. Eakins ran his race also. Potente got off badly. A longer route suits him. Al showed speed i for a quarter and then quit. Was probably short. George H. Ketcham did not run his race.
