NEW RECORD FOR INGLESIDE. Last year the Crocker-Woolworth Bank Stakes, won yesterday at Ingleside by The Bachelor, was a dash of two milos and was won by Joe Ullman in 2 :29i. For this year the route was lengthened to the old-fashioned cup distance of two and one-quarter miles. It was the first race at the distance ever run over the Ingleside track, and the time, 4:01, is consequently a track record.
