TWO BIG SACKS TODAY. Two stake races of groat importance in the eyes of turfmen will be decided this afternoon. One, the Crescent City Derby, is the main and closing event of the long winter meeting at New Orleans. The other, The Burns Handicap, is by all odds the chief event of the California tnrf and because of its valne and the quality of the horses engaged would be a race of absorbing interest on any track in this country.
