NOTES OF THE TURF. W. H. Clark of New York has bought from F. B. Harper three two-year-olds that are thought to be very promising. They are Sadie Burnham, b, f, by Rossington — Louisa Forest; Lucky Bird, gr. orch. c, by Rossington— Rena B., and Round Up, b. c, by Rossington— Unite. Sam Parmer is said to have a real clipper in his stable at Nashville in The Getaway— High Nun colt which has been working some very fast quarters.
