j ST. CALLATINE SOLD. San Feancisco, Cal., April 7.— W. B. Sink leaves here tonight for New York. He has pur-chased St. Callatine for ,500. In the car with her are Orthia by Ormonde, said to be owned by William C. Whitney, another Ormonde filly of great promise handled by Frank Taylor, also Formero and three horses belonging to A. W. Scott. Mounce has been suspended for incompetency. His rides on Juva and Reolia today were questioned. R. Porter Ashe left for New York tonight on a special mission as attorney for Atkins and Lot-ridge to press their claim for Jockey Clawsons services. He proposes to fight the case in the civil courts unless the Jockey Club upholds their claim. So far the dead sire Hanover has the following list of foals. Some others are due.
