He was easing up at the end. Genua was favored with a good start and ran a smart race. Jen-nie Reid ran to her best form. A longer route suits her best. Maud Ferguson has gone back j and is not consistent. She ran fast to the stretch and then gave it up. Carter H. Harrison did not run his race. It was too gool company for Juva. Saintly was cut off and unlucky. Scratched— 11160»Anchored, 107; 11035 Jerry Hunt, 107;Flamula, 104; 11178 Sidelong. 104; 10666 Correct, 102. . . . __. . Moatanus, place, 5 to 1; show, 8 to 5. With her light impost Winifred was best and won without trouble. She has been rated a sprinter, but stayed the route surprisingly well today. Rapido ran an extra good race for him and will do to consider in very ordinary company. He finished very strong and is good Billy McCloskey is a plodder and did his best. Reolia ran disappointingly, but she does not amount to much at her best. The others are very inferior racers. Overweights— Morana, 4 pouads; University, 3. Winifred, place, 2 to 1; show, evens. Start fair. Won palled up. Flower of Gold won like a high class one, which she probably is. It was only exercise for her. Rachael C. ran very fast down the homestretch and nipped Loch Katrine in the last stride. The latter filly ran her race. Flush of Gold is of the improving order and will do to watch.
