Time, 12i, 26, 39, 53. Winner— B. f, by Cavalier — Savitri. Off at first break to a straggliDg start. Won easily; second well in hand; third and fourth were driving. Nina B. L. beat the flag and won all the way. She fairly reveled in the going. Contessa got the place as easily as Nina B. L. won. Off better, Chump would have been a keen contender. Sbe wr.s all tangled up at the start and never really got on her stride until the stretch was reached. Nullah tired badly at the end. The going was perhaps against her. Huronia was a false alarm. She got off well enough, but after running a sixteenth dropped out of it. This filly is entitled to consideration on a fast track. Rumor has it she worked a half better than 49 seconds. Outline bolted, and was practically l*ft at the post. Scratched-11914 Noelie. 107; 11848 El Jay, 107. Overweights — Nullah, 2 pounds; Olive Order, 2. Nina B. L., place, 6 to 5; show, 1 to 2. Winner— B. g, by Blazes— Miss Hall. Off at first break to a good start. Won hand ridden and out to the last ounce; second and third were under keen pressure. Kamsin was the best. He was fortunate in getting away well and always had clear sailing. If he was sound in wind he could beat much better horses than these. Charmante liked the going and ran a good race. She looked to have Kamsin beaten at one time in the stretch. Robert Bonner is a game horse. Caywood drove him hard all the way. Dalgretti and Cuirassier were both lame in their preliminary. Little Singer could not untrack herself in the goiag. The same applies to Nekarnis. Scratched— 10836 Hanlight, 97; Hanjose, 100. Overweights — Robert Bonner, 2 pounds; Little Singer, 2. Mulvihill was far the be9t and made a show of his field. He was flgl-ting for his head the last furlong. It was a tired lot behind him. Rosavannah ran a good race and seems to be a mudlark. She may have been short. At any rate she was tired enough to lie down at the finish. The race was a procession all the way. Mulvihill, place out. Rosavannah, place, 2 to 1 ; show, 4 to 5. Abe Furst reveled n the going, and the further they went the more he increased his lead. He won like a good recekorse. Fonclif was hand ridden on the turn but did not have to be urged through the stretch. Lobengala bore in on the far tarn and it was all Caywood could do to keep him off the fence. He was also interfered with several times. Fred Barr suffered from bad handling. Alma Glyn may win in very ordinary company. Scratched— 119162Lsdy Ellerslie II , 111. Winner— B. c, by Justice Lyon— Tillie S, Post 3 minutes. Start poor. Won eased up; second handily; third was driving hard. J.J. T. towroped his field. He had speed to loan and was never in trouble. He went so fast the first of it that he killed off all those behind him. He seems to ba a fair sort of colt. Uncle Abb Eart as a reputation for not being able to rai in the mad, but he seemed to do well in it today. Phidias got away poorly and had no speed the first part of it. His entry will be refused hereafter on account of this race. Dr. Marks ran a bad race. It was far worse than Phidias performance. Bright Night was wabbling all over the track at the finish, Cochisa seemed to stop in a stride on the far turn. Overweights— J. J. T., 21 pounds; Bright Night, 21. J. J. Scatcohen was on the outside all the way and ran a good race. She showed considerable gameuess through the stretch. Assessor liked the going and was right there all the way. Forensic did well. Papa Harry finished stoutly. Daily Racing Form was off poorly bat moved ap rapidly on the far turn and seemed to have a winning chance at the eighth post. His early effort to get op told on him though and he weakened at the end. La Jaanita showed a sharp tarn of speed. Scatcohen, place, 4 to 1 ; show, 2 to 1. Assessor, place, 8 to 1; show, 4 to 1.
