He is about due to win although a bad actor at tbe post. Mark Georgetown II. He was away poorly, had a bad journey but stood it gamely and ran a cracking good race. Ravenswood also ran a go d race and finished like a wild horse This oolt wants a route to do his best. Man of Honor stopped all of a sudden ou the far turn. He is a good looker but nowhere near ready. Bluerina had no speed; neither had Chump. Scratched— 12082 Bertha Laurence, 93. -Over weights— Bluerina, 2 pounds. Banbury, place, 4 to 5; show, 1 to 3. It was a drive for the place. Myth played with his field. He is good now and was well ridden. Weber waited in behind Hurricane and Kings Guard nntil the Btretch was reached then cantered by the pair at though they were tied. They swung very wide on the turn, giving Myth plenty of room to get through. Hurricane is a fast colt but is none too game. He may have been short, though, today, and if to ! this race will do him good. Kings Guard ran a cracking good raoe. He hung to Hurricane all the way. The first three were the only contenders. Mammy was given two chances, but refused to break and was 1 ft . Myth, place, out. Hurricane, place, out. Kings Guard, show, out. -| Oi1 Q THIRD RACE— 3-4 Mile. Winner— B. c, by Bubbler— Morning Bride. Off at first break to a good start. Won hand ridden and tiring; second and third driving hard. Goebel bad all the luck. He was ab ut the only horse in the race not interfered with. This made bim win. There was a bad mix-up at the start, Rosavannah, Free Hand and Cyril all being badly interfered with. Tbe for ner was knocked to her knees. Alma Glyn van the cause of all the trouble. Booker broke in front on the outside but immediately cut across the track. Al Lone was weakly ridden. She savad considerable ground on the stretch turn and a smart boy on her might have stolen the race. Alma Glyn is consistent. Scatcohen after running all around her field made a strong bid at the head of the stretch but died away. The races of Cyril, Rosavannah and Free Hand must be thrown out on account of the early interference. Scratched— 119042Brigade, 104. Overweights— Kittie Hero, 5 pounds; Free Hand, 4; Scatcohen, 31. Winner — B. g, by The Sailor Prince— Daisy. Off at first break to a perfect start. Won in a hard drive; second and third also driving. Dalgretti came to life with a sudden start and ran a fine race. He had to be the best to win considering the way he was interfered with on the firet turn. At that point he was shut off and almost thrown, causing Nutt to take him up and go aronnd tbe others. Dr. Marks teemed stiff and sore the first part of the route and propped all the way down the backstretcb. He got to going smoothly the last quarter and finished like a go d horse. Robert Bonner was worn out racing in front. Had Bloss placed him the early pait of it he would have run a better race Black Fonso ran above his mark and Yours Truly far below his. The latter, however, was badly cut off on the far turn. Admetus was badly outrun. He seems to be iu bad form. Scratched -121532 Fred Barr, 112; 12185 Miss Ross, 107. Winner— Br. g, by Little Minch— Sunsbiue. Off at first break to a good start. It was a long bard drive and a pretty finish between the first two. Nutt outrode H. Brown. Marco Polo was the best. He was off in a pocket and was obliged to bump his way through on the far tura. In doing so he collided with Oreusa and knocked her completely off her stride. Tbe latter is a small filly and caromed off Marco Polo like a rubber ball. This was the cause of her stopping so suddenly. Nutt bad H. Brown where the latter was unable to use his whip through the stretch. Chenier, after much interference, finished very strong. Nellie Fonso ip.u a good race.
