NOTES OF THE TURF. It is now more than probable that a special day will be given at the Latonia racetracks for the great order of Elks. The matter has been broached to the officials of the Latonia track, and they readily give their consent to the proposition. The matter has not yet been settled positively, but will be some time this week. It is proposed to turn the clubhons over to the Elks on the special day for their families and guests, while a gentlemens race, in which only Elks will ride will be a feature. The Elk lodges of Cincinnati, Covington and Newport will have charge of the affair, which, if carried out, will be on a scale of magnificence. — Cincinnati Commercial-Tribune. Salvator has arrived safely at Elmeudorf Farm, the place of his birth, and where he will end his days.
