Uusighty is a good filly and is in the best of form at present. She raced Zizi into submission in the first hplf and loafed tbo rest of the journey. Zaza had co excuses. She was away Hying and was never bothered. Mission had some bad luck at the atari but got ont of it all right and in ponty of time to run a g iod race. Honoywood was running great gnus at the finish. MaharHjah was all tangled up at the start and never got straightened out. Pan Jette was short. Sho will improve from thU racr. In D bt ran a dull race. Winner B. h, by Fonso Minnio Williams. Post 8 miuntcs. Start good. It was a driving finish and a pretty contest between the first two. Both horses wpio strocgly riddon. Tappan was unfortunate in getting away, but Yandusen took desperato chances down the backstretch and woaved his way through. Enapp, with Lord Zsni, pinned Tappaa in on the rail in the last sixteenth. This is how he beat him. Lord Zeui was lucky throughout. Facade was far back and in a bad position when the barrier went up. He ran a flue race and finished very strongly. Fetor McCuo showed his usual phenomenal tnrn of speed and also his faint-hearteon?S3. He quit to a walk in tho stretch. Norma Taylor got a runaway start. It wbb of no use to her, as Peter McCao racod her to exhaustion in tho fir.st half. Littlo Jack Horner made one bid in the stretch and then retired. Winner B. c, by Tunny Soprano. Off at the tint break t a good start. Won easily ; second eased at the end after an early drive. Considering the condition of the track, which was a tiifla cuppy after the rain, this was a grand race both for Tenby and Banneville. Tenby was at his very best and was judiciously-handled. Nuti waited as long as lie possibly could, thus avoiding the early pace, and made his run-at the right time. That was when Eugenia Wickes retired. Tenby had Bonneville beaten at the eighth post and was easing up at tho end. Bonneville was conceding a lot of weight, and considering lie had to do this end make the pace, hia performance was a high class one. Eugenia Wickes did well as far as she went. Piccula was outclassed. Overweights Eugenia Wickes, 1 pound; Bonneville, 31. Tenby, place, out. Bennevillo, place, 2 to 5. Piccola, place, 3 to 5. -9QQ Q 1 FOURTH RACE 1 1-8 Miles. Won -very easily; second hand ridden; third whipped out. Uarda smothered her fiola for speed. Sho is at her best now and was skillfully rated in front. This filly outclasses this kind. Pan Charm ran a good race. Mathows saw he had no chance to boat Uarda in the stretch and eased the colt up. Mark him. There was a wise play on him today. Elkin was slow to begin and it seemed probable that ho would get into a bad mix-up on the first turn. Vandusen was lucky, tbongh, and by good judgment managed to get through. Prosecutor ran a fair race. Henry Launt quit badly in the stretch. So did Einer. The latter was badly handled. Bethlehem Star ran a dnll race. His race was a verj good one. Semper Eadem was tiring at the end. Mark Cii3tanco. She showed a lot of speed but was short. Evelyn Byrd ran below her notch. Won clevetly at the end after a hard early drive; second driving and staggering; third and fourth doing their best. Carnero won because of his better class. He looked hopelessly btaton at tho head of the stretch, but he and Nutt were both persistent and woald not give up. Eberhart stopped to almost a walk, in tho last sixteenth. He was a very tirad horse at tho finish, Everett perhaps made his run too soon. Barton made up a lot of ground in tho last half mile. Indra looked good, but was not ready. This race should put him bu edge. Ramlet ran a fair race. Scratched 13l913Foronsic, 97. Overweights Jim McClevy, 3 pounds; Hub Prather, 4; Hanlight, 5. Corrected weights Indra, 119.
