, 1 1 NOTES OF THE TURF. Mr. A. B. Spreckles recently received a letter from Cy Mulkey who started for the Klondykoa year andja half ago. Mr. Mulkey is at present sitnatedonthe Kobuk river many miles north of Yukon. The members of his party have done considerable prospecting in that vicinity, but have not as. yet "struck it."
