! NOTES OF THE TURF. William Martin has signed to ride for Ed -Corrigan. He has joined the big stablo at Sara- toga and will return with it to California, j When Martin was with Pat Dunne he rode a great deal for Mr. Corrigan. W. M. Rogers, owner of Bicbard J., has bought from Dan Honig, the latters contract with jockey Jenkins, who is considered a capable rider. Brennan and Orpen have lost the good two-year-old Lord Kitchener, by Sir Modred Lambaye que. He died at Fort Erie from inflammation Monday last. Jockey Eddio Jones has been released from his contract to ride for Caesar Young and is now a free lance. The Tarcoon has been added to the list of horses not eligible to enter at St. Louis.
