Teutons is a great stayer. H9 was under a drive through the last half mile. i. Sheppard was of little or no help to the colt through the fetretch end he won purely on his own courage. Uhler was pocrly baudled. Wilton wore him out down the backstiotch and made hi run too soon. Mure judiciously handled he might have beaten Teutons. Msyme M. M. wes slow to bo?in and bad to bo much need down the backstrotch in order to get a good position. She .1 was eased at the end when she no longer had a chance to win. Rosavannah quit early. She was Jl not reEdy for such a bard race. Vie Lamont made one bid on the far turn and than died away, i; Under a bad ride Lilliau Read ran a gcod race. Won in a terrific drive of two. Prince Blazes ran a 1 cracking good race. He is an extra good mud runner and is as game as a pebble. He was about 1 the only horse in the race that was ridden with judgment. Narvaez waited in behind with him 1 and let the others race to exhaustion in front. The boy skinned the rail on the stretch turn and stole a inarch on Vitatoe. The latter threw the race awey on Branch, who was the best horse He had a commanding lead at the eighth post and then went to sleep. This is the third hard race in the same number of days that Ronoy Boy has had. He did the best he could and then stopped. The going was against Jolly Roger. Carl C. looked dangerous at one time down the backstretch but retired when the pinch came. Scratched 13272 The Lady in Blue, 92; 133202Cherry Leaf, 111. Winner B. h, by Tea Tray La Belle Juive. . Off at the first break to a coed start. The first three were driving to the limit. It was a : clos s and very pretty contest in the last sixteen h of a mile. Everett outtinished the other two : boys a trifle. Twenty yards out it seemed that Samovar would not be any better than third, bat he rallied at the end. Del Paso II , perhaps, should have won. He saved a lot of ground by Ekinning the rtils at tho head of the stretch. But in the last furlong he was in the deepest going and this told on him in the la3t few strides. Molo ran one of his best racas and was beaten out of the place simi ly through tho action of the nod. Elidad looked dangerous on the far turn, but died away in tho stretch. His raca was a good one. Watch him. The going stopped both Elkin and Graziolla Throw Ton Licalzis race out. Won easily at the end after a hard drive. Jack Hayes, under bis heavy impost, ran a grand race. He was by far tho best ridden. Then he moved up gradually and caught Colonel Weigbtman on tho flat after tho last fence bad ben cleared. Donne on the latter made him run too soon ana bad nothing lft to finish with. Teulada fell at tha twolfth fence and Zufallig at tho list. Tho latter was so exhausted that he could hardly got up again.
