Winner B, f, t by Pursebsarer Martha. Post 10 ininuteB. Start straggling. Won hand ridden only, but out to the last ounce : second and third were driving to the limit. Erla dOr is a good, consistent filly and was skilfully handled. Booker had her close to the rail and saved all the ground possible. He did not lose his head, either, wnon the pinch came and hand rode the filly cleverly. Merito was off poorly and ran a good, game race. Sho was perhaps the best. Zaza got a runnine start. She will hardly do unless weighted very lightly. Scarlet Lily ran far out in all breakaways. This ruined what ever chance she had of winning. She stopped almost to a walk in the last eighth. Dram-burg was badly interfered with when Miscroscopo fall. Taking this into consideration, his race was a good one. Seaton, on Alaho II., was the cause of the mixup in which Microscope fell. Winnar B. f, by Sir Dixon Lndy Elizabeth. Post 22 minutes. Start fair. Won cleverly. There was a lot of action bshind the winner. Mary ,r Kmsslla was most saved at the post ana ran a good race. Nutt had her close to the rail and luckily escaped interference all the way. When those in front stopped she came away on call. Murat was Btaggenng and all out. He bore in and interfered with Loyaletta about the sixteenth post. This was the cause of the disqualification. He was prominent in all breakaways and perhaps ran his race there. Pitfall was running over horsoH at the end. Astor ran a fair race, but not a good one by any means. Free Lady caused all the delay at tho post and eventually got a running start. Loyaletta is a consistent performer. Scratched 134443Elidad, 110; 13151 La Champague, 105; 13414 Vinetta, 105; 13107 Overella,109. Alary Kinsella, plane, 2 to 1; show, even3. Winner-;Ch. f, by Deceiver Hattie Yanghan. Post 6 minutes. Start poor. Won in a mild drive; second and third driving to the limit, Fair Decoiver took the shortest route and ran a good race. She hung on more gamely than usual today. On the far turn Sim W. passad her and seemed to have hor baaten, but he weakened under his heavy impost when tho pinch came. He was very tired at the end and willing to he down. Miss Boss would have beaten him for second place in a few more strides. The latter ran one of her best raco3. Watch Mocorito. 3he finished with a terrific rush. Uarda was dull of speed. Her race was hardly up to the mark. Whatever chance Periwig had of winning was destroyed at the start. Overton evidently went to sleep on him at the post. Tony Licalzi ran as if stale. Va!?itffiiW.V L3W,121; miW 13344 Barton, 115; Fair Deceiver, place, 2 to 1 ; ehow, ovens. Winner B. g, by Eolus Nita. Off at the fi; st break to a good start. Won easily. Th next three were driving hard. Einer-came to life with a eudden start and ran away from bis field. Thia was one of the rankest form reversals of this season on the local tracks. Mayme M. M. ran her race and had no excuses-Knieht. on her, interfered with Samovar repestsdly down the backstretch. Prince Blazes came with his usual rush through tho atretch. Samovar tired badly from the sixteenth post home-Einers entry at Hawthorne will be refused in the future. The latter seemed to have tho race cinched swinging into the atretch, but weakened badly when the pinch came. Gadsden hung on like a bulldog and won in the lest stride. False Lead was wobbling all over the track in the stretch. Eamona made up a lot of ground in the last half. Storm Queen had no excuses. She Bimply quit when the pressuro came. It was a very bad lot. He took the lead on the first turn and no horse ever got near to him. Jim McClevy ran another consistent racp. Vandusen, on Uncle Abb, evidently thought it was not a go and left the post pulling up. The old horse was good and ran a game rce. Antiquary will not do at a mile. Refugee began to prop after going about half tho journey. Scratched 13445 Algareta, 117.
