GUESS HE TO BE SOLD. Mr. James V. Carter has determined to abandon racing temporarily and for that rea-Bon will sell at auction, at Hawthorne tomorrow, an extremely promising lot of youngsters besides his grand 3-year-old filly, Guess Me. At the aamo time Mr. Z. H. Carter will sell Babe Carter, a 3-year-old Kingston filly that is sure to prove fast and a winner. Tho 2-year-olds include a full sister to Guess Me and a half sister to Frank Ward. Time, the sister to Guess Me, has been in training but thirty days, and has already shown quarters in :221 speed enough to induce in the mind of any turfman tho wish to own her. The otherB are all very speedy and ready to race soon.
