THE SARATOGA. MKETIKG. r Racing begins at Saratoga today under more favorabe auspices than the oldest of the eastern tracks his bseit favored with daring: many i seasons past. All indications point to a remarkable concentration of the pick of the hones from the east and the weBt and the 1 result cm hardly fail to be sensational racing -from time to tima. This is one of tho most popular events oa the two-year old program and i3 generally signalized by a conflict between the juvenile champions of east and weBt. "The coming race will bo no exception, as the -weBt will be represented by Golden Rule, by Golden Garter Lucille Murphy, that comes -from the Pacific slope with a phenomenal record. He will be opposed by such clever eastern performers as Mesmerist, Withers, Maribert, Doublet, Vulcain, David Garrick and other likely stake performers. The same class will meet later on in the meeting for the Fleisch-mann Stakes, and there is every indication of liot racing in this division. "Joseph J.
