Lady Elite is a grand filly She acted b idly at the po3 bat had all her spaed and came away on call in the strotch It looked as though sue bumped Oconee on the stretch turn. Winkfield rode a miserable race on I Avenstoke. He tried to get througli at the head of the stretch whera he had no possible chance and was naturally cut off. The boy then was obliged to pull out and go s round thoae in front of him. The weght ancln led Nulleh. Nina B. L. ran a good race. Fly Lotta tried to run out all the way. Finem Respica hung a. bit at the end Ransom seemed tired too, and wobbled at the finish. Bon Jour seemed to be running easily down tho backstretch, bit Mathews got him sharply cut off at the half mile ground. This hurt his chances, but he could not possibly have beatsn the winner today. Einstein and Joe Clark both ran dull races. Scratched 133833Teutonp, 99; 136232Refugee, 106. Egbart, placp, evens; show, out. Gun Metal, place, 3 to 1; show, evens. Fin?m Respice Ehow, 2 to 1. John Baker seems to ba going back. Still he was badly iuterfered with tn the stretch turn. They ran too fast for Monk Wayman. ToDy Licalzi was far outclassed. The time marks a new track record.
