A GREAT SALE. The sale to be conducted by Messrs. Woodard and ShaDklin. during the week of November 27, to December 2 at Lexington will likely prove one of the greatest they have ever held, judging from the quality of the consignments they announce. Although there are more than 500 head to be sold, it is not merely a sale of a large number of thoroughbred horses, but in most cpsbb horses of worth and such as will be eegerly bid upon by all who desire to strengthen their farms or stables. The list includes a number of brothers and sisters to the greatest of stake winners, and are represented to be an exceedir gly valuable and choice lot. Certainly from such a large number we believe the moBt ever offered in any odb sale in this country, ono should hava no difficulty in picking a "good one." and doubtless many tare bargains will be secured. Tbe hort es in training are about 1G0 bead, including the wonderful trio, nBmely, Anna Bfiii, Unsightly and Merito, the crEcks" of 1899 two-year osd fillies. Serrano, the best sged horse of the WeBt during 1899, will also be sold, as well as a most valuable contingent from tbe successful stable of Messrs. J. W. Schoir, including Algol a high-claes horie, W. Overton stake winner, Streamer, Presbvterian stake winner, The Busb, Wilson, Yoloco, Aberdale and others. Mr. Euuene Leigh will dispose of his Western stable, includiig High Degree a stake winner, Wiedemann. Mr. Brown, Zonne and othsr winners. Mr. W. H. McCorkle sends hiB entire Btring, Lightning Express, Fairy Dell, etc. W. A McGuigan Bend in addition Unsightly, also the good horees, Edinborouah, Dick Fur-ber, Benaaier, Tnlane, Deanston, Sarilla, Major Maneir and the great mare, Lady Inez. Apple-gate and Durham will sell their entire string, Merito, Bomanoff, Joe Grady, etc. Other consignments include Vobicer, Piince Beal, Miss Guseie, Caviar and numerous other valuable and useful horses. The 200 stallions, broodmares and weanlings to bo sold tre fully up to the high standard of other divisions of this great sale, and include both the sires and the dams of any number of the best of Americas "racehorses." It will ba a eale that no horseman can afford to miss, for no matter what his wants may be hs can be supplied from the 00 head to be sold. It will prove a useful study to any who are at all interested in the thorongbbred horse.
