NASHVILLE NOTES. A gossipy letter from Nashville to the Spirit of the Times contains the following items of interest: Ed Moores stable is wintering at Nashville and ia composed of fifteen head, hb follows: Looram, 7; Dumbarton, 5; Ocie Brook;, 3; Bena Campbell, 3; Hieaway, 2; Aristo, 2; Lizzie Kelly, 3, and the following yearlings: Brown colt, by Fenelon; chestnut colt, by Fenelon; bay filly, by Longflsh Halloween; bay filly, by Longash Marie Beed; brown filly, by Longflsh Maria Barnes: bay filly, by Longfish Turn Taw; cheatnut filly, by Longflsh Fredic; bay gelding, by Longflsh Maud Moon. The promising yearling in training here is a large, handsome filly by Loyalist Lythe, by Enqairer. The filly is a member of Scott Harlans stable. Her dam is a full sister to Eg-mont, a great race horse. She was brought to the track about the first of Novembar and her first trial waa a quarter in 0;21t. Recently she negotiated the distance in 0:23. In the latter trial she carried 108 pounds, and the track was not in good condition. Information, deemed reliable, cornea from the Falls City to the effect that the Louisville Driving and Fair Association will give no more trotting m ?e tings at its track. It is said certain race promoters will lease the course for the purpose of giving a running meeting next fall. The following atablsa are in winter quarters here : S. E. Parmer, Ed Moore, Mannion and Con-nell, John Brannon, J. M. Johnson, Ed Doyle, George Hendrie, J. Milliron, S.P. Harlan, Harry Stover and H. McTeyere. Several other stables are expected here during the week, The New Tenoessee Breeders Association is making many improvements at the track, all of which will be completed by the opening day of the spring meeting, April 28. It ia aaid the association will not announce a trotting meeting for next fall. The Now Tennessee Breeders Aasosiation haa claimed April 28 to May 5 forita spring meeting.
