NOTES OF TflK TURF. There are three hundred or more horsea now at Montgomery Park, including the stables of J. W. Schorr and Boa. T. P. Hayes, J. C. Cahn, A. Cahn, C. T. Patterson, W. H. Landsman, Alderman Thomas Carey of Chicago, A. C Clark of Chicago, H. Tomlinson and Co. of Chicago, W. W. Darden, Lewis Byan, George C. Bennett and others of lesser note. The three-year-olds are doing grandly. There is not a sick harse at the track, and the weather has bsen all that the trainers could wiah for. The yearlings, just turning two-year-olds, have baen give a their trials to test whether they may have stake quality, and quarters in -.231 are common. Local turfmen who desire to make entries can obtain blanks from Daily Baoing Fokk for the stakes now offered by the Brooklyn, Coney Island, Memphis, California and Louisville jockey clubs and the Western Turf Association.
