She was on the outside until nearing the stretch turn. Sir Christopher could not shake his horses off at any part of it. Mitchells finish on him was a weak one. Suniol stopped badly at the end. She had a close, hard contest with Harry Reed all through the last furlong and outstayed the latter. The Amazon was tiring at the end. Harry Reed tired in the last ten yards. Oliver Me was practically left at the post, but ran a winning race from where he got off. Coralis was eased up at the end. Rolling Boer came strongly in the run home. Remsen and Sweepstakes tired. The latter was under a pull until nearing the stretch turn but collapsed when called on.
