He showed great speed and waa drawing away at the end. Under a strong ride Hammock showed great improvement. Oliver Mc. failed to show his usual speed, although he was heaviiv backed. He galloped Ten Candles into submission and won as he pleased. Prince McClurg had too much weight. He was outrun the first part of the content , and closed gamely under punishment, but could not reach Prince of Melbourne. Half Time tired at the end. Tommy Atkins could not have lost with an evei: break. Blues and Alfonso had no chance from where they got off. The Puritan ran a fine race to the stretch and then tired.
