Prima II. swerved badly in the last sixteenth. Lady Padden was off poorly. Mistigri was shut out at the start. Harlem Lane was run up to ,700 and bought in. His Royal Highness quit as usual and is a bad betting I proposition. The same can be said of Montanic. Trumpet ran a fine race, but was wretchedly j ridden. Nearly left, he made up ground and seemed dangerous at the sixteenth post, but the effort wa6 too much and he hung in the la t few strides. Kamara closed a big gap. Andrisa tired. Fond Hopes was shut off at the start. Maribert, place, 24 to 1 ; show, 6 to 5. His Royal Highness, place, 7 to 1 ; show, 31 to 1. Rafaello made up a lot of ground. May Hempstead, Jean Beraud and Firearm tired badly.
