Regea broke well in her stride took the shortest route, and from every indication was the best. Barbara M. got a bad ride Rose took her very wide at the head of the stretch, losing much ground. Edith Q. met with some interference shortly after the start. Eldred showed the most Bpeed early, but cjuit badly when the pinch came in the stretch. Glove was all tangled up at the start and never got entirely st raightened out. Peaches showed but little speed lelephone Girl is a bad betting proposition. Overweights— Glove. 2 pounds. Won easing up; second, third and fourth were under full sail. Ben Chance showed more speed then he has in any of his recent races and won running away. Limelight is a plodder pure and simple. He was in a soft sdoI here had he been of any account but failed badly. Intriguer showed speed but was tired enough to he down in the last sixth. Ailenna was sharply shut off just as she was making her move on the far turn. Baud ran a fairly good race. Plantain ran a poor race and is evidently of no present account. Went to post at 3:10. Oft at the first break to an excellent start. Won cleverly • second and third were doing their best. Tj r is a good colt and had to be to win. Lnder a poor ride he ran a high-class race. Ransom set med to have no hold of the coifs head, and at the sixteenth post he stumbled and almost fell. I ossart broke fully in his stride, found the dead going to his liking and showed a fine turn of speed. Be also hung on gamely at the end. Grandon had no excuses and ran his best race. Invictus seems to be improving. Sannazaro must have a muddy track to do his best. Robert Waddell stowed some speed, but not much. Overweights Sannazaro. 2 pounds; Duke of Bohemia. 1; Possart. 3. Winner— B. c. by Daniel— Blue Bells. Went to post at 4:10. Off at the first break to a good start. Won in a hard drive The next five al-o hard at it. Blue Lick received were a perfect ride and ran a good game race Riders reversed Donation would have won. All VYiuktield seems to know is to rush to the front as soon as possible and let hu horse die there. Donation always runs best from behind and his rider used poor judgment in not placing him in the first part of the race. Yincennes ran a smashing Kood race and appears to be in winning form. Guess Me wa prominent for about three-quarters and then quit badly. Annowan did not seem to have a bit of speed. Tim Gainey made a fair showing. Overweights— Donation.
