lucky and perfectly handled throughout displayed a brilliant burst of speed and drew out gamely at the end Colonel Padden was far the best of the others Is a superior class colt He lost some ground on the stretch turn which howaver did not affect the result Dublin showed a firstclass burst of speed for a half mile but tired at the end and this good colt has not yet had a chance to show his true form He is evidently greatly handicapped on a heavy track He has bean tried within a few pounds of his stable companion The Parader Ben Viking was closing at the end Isidor was greatly overweighted on his form this year St Finnan was outclassed especially in the going Belle of Lexington poorly handled was pock ¬ eted in the first part and really had no chance with the ride Throw out the race Trillo especially when sloppy was easily best and perfectly ridden Himself made his ran too soon He seemed a sure winner on the far turn but suddenly began to quit after passing the stretch turn Animosity
