OAKLAND RACES POSTPONED Because of the death of exSecretary Milroy of the California Jockey Club there will be no racing at Oakland this afternoon Mr Milroys death was caused by injuries received recently when alighting from a street car He was one of President Thomas H Williams most valued assistants and was one who had much to do with placing San Francisco racing on its present highly prosperous basis Ho enjoyed the esteem of a wide range of friends and acquaintances to whom his unexpected death will bring pain
