have been galloped over blue grass fields near the course and on the boulevards which extend from the outskirts of the city to Ashland the old home of Henry Clay At Memphis last Tuesday Dutch Strubie who is handling Brigade a Montgomery Handicap can ¬ didate got in a discussion with Bishop Poole trainer for Tichenor Co over the merits of their respective candidates chances in the race and as it was work day for both horses Miracle II and Brigade were matched on the spot and sent away on a threequarter trial Brigade carried over 100 pounds and Miracle II packed the 87 pounds which he is
