Morris Volmer was well rated to the far turn, where he easily ran into the lead and held it to the end without being strongly urged. Eocrys came fast through the stretch and finished strongly. The Advocate ran his race. So did Nimble Nag. Immortelle was all but left at the post. Antolee was sharply cut off at the first turn, but ran a good race thereafter. The others were not serious contenders, although Pigeon Post showed spned for a half. Found was off badly, made up a lot of ground and might have won with good racing luck. Bill Massie showed great speed for seven furlongs and then tired. Satin Coat ran a dull race throughout. Kiss Quick also made up much ground and ran a good race. Horsa went well and finished strongly . Kingstelle wants a longer distance. Evas Darling showed a fine burst of speed, but tired.
