The arrangements which we have made for this Winter are perfect. For the past two years we have been handicapped at this track by the publicity which has been given our information by its early sale. This year we have arranged to provide against this The name of the horse we select will not bee ominunicated to anybody before the races. In order to enable clients to back our choices we have secured the sen-ices of Mr. Sol. Ljchtenstein, a noted Eastern bookmaker and member of the Metropolitan Association, who will place the money at the track. Accounts will be accepted subject to conditions which are given below As a pledge of good faith, the Maxim and Gay Company guarantees to place in the hands of the Editor of the New Orleans Item the selections the money will be played on, and also to mail the selections to out-of-town subscribers before noon each day of the races, such letters to bear postmark of not later than 1 P M., of the day the races are to be run. It also undertakes to telegraph on request to any subscriber every evening the odds secured and the names of the horses played, and to advertise daily in this newspaper the next morning the selection of the one-horse wire given the previous day. Conditions of subscriptions to our service at New Orleans, are as follows: Pee for information, 0.00 weekly. Charge for placing your money at the track will be five per cent, of the net weekly winnings.
