Potheen out-classod his Hold in the going, broke from the inside in deep heavy going, cut tho corner at the first turn and boat all but Judgo Magee to tho path, went to the front while rounding the far turn and won with plenty in reserve. Judge Mageo tired and was under a hard driv all of tho last furlong. Lady Midas was crowded into deep going at tho far turn and again in tho last sixteenth and Hoffler was of no help to her when it came to a drive. It was a throe horso race all the way.
