Deboe on the outside in good going all the way, raced Worthington to submission in the first ha f and had enough left to stall off Rolling Boers challenge at the end. Bnchanaus finish on the latter was a slovenly one. He allowed Rolling Boer to drop ont of it in the first half and he could have won with a more energetic ride. Worthington showed much oarly speed, but tired. Travers was cut off soon after the start and was tiring at the end. He seemingly does not like to go over six furlongs at full speed. Gilmore kept Flaneur on the outside all the way and the horse showed a lot of speed and was never in serious danger of losing.
