Besides this, the stockholders of the Maxim and Gay Company enjoy the intimate friendship of soven out of ten of the owners and trainers racing in Nnw Orleans, and the Company has access to information as to owners and trainers intentions there that it does not enjoy elsewhere to the same degree. Ever body conversant with the history of the Maxim and Gay Company knows that at New Orleans two years ago it scored the sensational success which made its name a household word among racing people. Last winter we returned to the Esene of our splendid efforts, rich in experience from our campaign on the eastern tracks. We sprung sensational surprise after surprise, beginning with Orla, which won at 15 to 1, and reached the meridian when Philma Paxton, 16 to 1, won, which we wired for a plunge to the limit of ovr 3,060 clients from Maine to California.
