Florestan was on the extreme outside for the entire trip, came fast through the stretch and was going away at the end. Ireno Mac displayed the most early speed and set a fast pice, but tired when strongly called on. Tom May bin was on the inside of the leaderB for the first half, came to the extreme outside at the turn into the homestretch and swung in behind the other horses. This horse did not run his race. Hicks never made a move on him until well into the homestretch, when he came fast and was going away at the end. John Peters came again in the last sixteenth, caught Okla tiring and beat her out in the last few strides. Okla ran on the extreme outside all the way, was used up racing with Carl Kahler and tired when called on. Clorita was cut off at the far turn and Gannon took her back. Banish began slowly, but closed a big gap in the last half and finished fast. John Potter was taken to the extreme outside while rounding the first turn and lost a lot of ground, but caught Tour tiring in the last furlong. Antonius showed early spaed, but was tiring at the end and driving to the limit to stalliOff Belvino. The latter finished gamely under a drive. Scotch Plaid was under restraint for the first half and finished gamely when it came to a drive. Cogswell tired after closing a big gap. He was probably a bit short.
