Mr. Dingle secured a lucky start and clear sailing, was always well up, wore Little Margaret down in the stretch and beat her in the last stride. Little Margaret tired at the end afttr making a wide stretch turn and was probably best. Salver made a promising debut and will beat this kind later on. Gillie was going well at the end. Sir Preston was always outrun. Guida, away badly, closed up a big gap. J. H. Bennett quit after running a good half and was probably short. Scratched Creedmore, 102. He broke slowly and was pocketed for the first quarter, then, moved up on the turn with amazing speed and finally wore Mildred Hchultz- down in the last quarter, winning going away. Mildred Schultz, a quick breaker, forced a fast pace and, swinging wide on the stretch turn, finished gamely under the whip. Botany, away poorly, ran into prominence in the first quarter and, although seriously interfered with on the turn, easily came away from the others. Erema quit after following the winners pace for the first quarter. Montana Peeress finished well. SolLichten-stein showed early speed. Scratched 36571 Estado, 101. Axminster. show. 2 to 5. The Fretter, suddenly and greatly improved, followed Kenilworths pace closely and outstayed him after a long drive. Kenilworth did his best and ran a fast and xame race at the weights. Lord Badge was driving hard to keep up and was wearing the leaders down at the end and would have won in a sixteenth farther. Amasa, a quick breaker, got off flying and sustained his superior speed unexpectedly well. Florinel II., also lncky at the start, just lasted long enough to beat All Green, The latter, nearly left, closed a tremendous gap. Diderot indulged Castake to the stretch whern he forged to the front and appeared a sure winner throughout and was best. Castako displayed brilliant and unexpected form, forced a fast pace and held on gamely and was easily second best. Bessie McCarthy was always prominent, but was lucky to beat Frank Woods. The latter got away poorly, lost ground on the far turn and was badly ridden, but closed up with a ruBh in the last quarter although handicapped by the going. Galanthus, away badly, sulked because missing blinkers and being in a rear position, but was closing up strongly at the end. Sea Lion was overweighted. Nellie Forest was outclassed.
